Was compromised by a speed-favoring sloppy surface that he didn’t care for last time.
Can beat the favorite Portfolio Manager if he runs back to his April 8 effort.

Smarty Smart (#5)
Broke slowly in his debut before rushing up.
Chased a very fast pace while racing four-wide around the turn last time.
Should be fitter for her second start.

Pretty Perfection (#9)
Got the wrong trip last time, as she was shuffled back around the turn and caught in traffic in the stretch.
Ran some competitive races in stakes company over the winter and into the spring.
Trainer Kelly Breen gets a 94 Trainer Rating with turf sprinters, and jockey Robby Albarado has been riding very well at this meet.
