Race 5:
Precieuse (#5)
Is arguably the class of this field, having won the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (French 1,000 Guineas) last year.
Has apparently been working very well up to this start, while more than holding her own against some of her best stablemates.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Chad Brown is 5 for 10 (50 percent, $3.95 ROI) first off a trainer switch with foreign shippers on turf at Saratoga.

Race 6:
Hersh (#4)
Exits an unusually strong Belmont maiden race.
Ran a very professional race last time out, settling off the pace before having to wait for room in upper stretch.
Still has plenty of upside, and seems likely to take a step forward.

Race 8:
Separationofpowers (#6)
Stumbled to her nose at the start of the Victory Ride last time out, placing her far out of position in the early going.
Should have no trouble with the added furlong, having won the Frizette going a mile last year.
Figures to work out a great trip sitting just off the main speeds.

Race 10:
Mom’s On Strike (#2)
Ran one of her best career races going this distance two back in the Bewitch.
Was always out of position while racing wide around the track in the New York last time out.
Has handled softer turf courses, which bodes well for her chances following the expected rain on Saturday morning.
