Race 1:
Pipes (#3)
Worked very well over the synthetic surface in his OBS Sales workout earlier this year, displaying a turfy way of moving.
Closed well over a sloppy dirt surface in his debut on July 23.
As a son of Exchange Rate, has enough pedigree to handle the turf.

Race 4:
Shak’s Hidden Gem (#3)
Closed determinedly into a moderate pace last time out against a solid field.
Runner-up Tradeable returned out of that race to win next time out.
Is bred to handle longer distances, as her dam was best going long on the dirt.
9-2 on ML
Race 5:
Red Zinger (#3)
Was very green in his debut behind La Fuerza, but still made a menacing run on the far turn.
Showed improvement last time out, as he ran better than it appears to nearly close for second in a race dominated by the front-runner.
Figures to get plenty of pace to close into this time with three speedy colts drawn to his outside.
10-1 on ML
Race 9:
Purely Lucky (#1)
Has improved by leaps and bounds ever since her connections stretched her out in distance.
May simply be a better horse now than she was when she tried dirt last winter.
Has been training well over the main track in recent weeks, even drilling in company with Monomoy Girl on one occasion.
5-1 on ML
