TimeformUS Belmont Park Horses in Focus for Sunday, June 24, 2018

David Aragona|Jun 23, 2018

Race 3:
Point to Remember (#1)

Is bred to run a route of ground as a son of Point of Entry out of route stakes winner Miss Isella.
Proved his quality in his debut when he was a good second behind Vino Rosso.
DRF Formulator Fact: Over the past five years, Jimmy Jerkens is 10 for 39 (26 percent, $2.20) with horses stretching out to a route for the first time on dirt.
7-2 on ML

Race 4:
Purely Lucky (#1)

Got outrun going seven furlongs last time and briefly got stuck behind tiring runners at the top of the stretch.
Showed promise as a 2-year-old but has been plagued by a lack of focus in her races.
Should appreciate the nine furlongs and drew a perfect post position for this distance on the inner turf.
9-2 on ML

Race 7:
Wegetsdamunnys (#2)

Is bred to handle turf since she’s a daughter of good turf influence D’Funnybone and out of a dam who won four times on grass.
Made a visually impressive run from off the pace last time, suggesting that she’s coming into this race in career form.
Jeremiah Englehart has a strong record with turf sprinters over the past couple of seasons.
10-1 on ML
