TimeformUS Belmont Horses in Focus for Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019

David Aragona|Oct 26, 2019

Race 3: Complexity (#1)

The Pace Projector is predicting he will be on the lead in a situation favoring the front-runner.

Earned a massive 120 TimeformUS Speed Figure as a 2-year-old, and merely needs to get back to that form.

Appears to be working as well as ever for this return to the races.

Race 5: One Eyed Jack (#1)

Got caught behind a slow pace when facing a pair of stakes-bound runners in his debut.

Would have shown improvement stretching out last time, but encountered traffic at the quarter pole.

Still has more upside than his main rival Spice Road.

Race 7: Pink Sands (#4)

Stumbled at the start and was hindered by a slow pace last time out at Churchill Downs.

Turning back on the dirt is a good angle and she’s arguably run some of her best races at this seven-furlong distance.

Reunites with Jose Ortiz, who rode her in her last three victories.
