TimeformUS Belmont Horses in Focus for Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018
Race 5:
Catsoutofthebag (#10)
Discreet Cat is a decent turf influence, connecting with 13 percent of his starters on grass.
Is a full sister to Fly at Dawn, who was a turf winner in Europe and turf stakes-placed in Dubai.
Trainer Mike Dini does very well with a limited number of starters in New York.

Race 6:
Mango M (#2)
Lost all chance at the start last time when he hopped and broke a step slowly; was also steadied late.
Figures to be the controlling speed this time, as long as he breaks cleanly.
Broke his maiden over Belmont’s inner turf course two back.

Race 7:
Palladian Bridge (#2)
Can excuse her last race since she lost her composure pre-race and never seemed to be herself.
Would be very formidable here if she repeats her effort two back on July 20.
The Pace Projector is predicting she will be the early lead in a situation favoring the front-runner.
7-2 on ML
