Three tracks cancel programs

Poor track conditions caused three tracks to cancel live racing programs Saturday.

Beulah Park's eight-race program was wiped out for the third straight day when a thaw was followed by below freezing temperatures, forming clods of dirt that made racing unsafe. Philadelphia Park's main track was unfit for racing after heavy rains Thursday night and Friday.

Charles Town, in anticipation that track conditions would not quickly improve, canceled both its Saturday and Sunday cards.
