The horses breezed at the Copper Crowne Training Center in Opelousas, La. - Hip 18, Sallee Sumthing, a first-crop Sum of the Parts filly out of the stakes-placed Lit de Justice mare La Salle Glory, whose four foals to race are all winners. Bred in Louisiana by Montgomery Equine Center, the filly is from the family of Grade/Group 3-placed runners Mewannarose and Increible, as well as stakes winners Wianno, Artic Son, and African Rose. Ricky Courville Sales consigns Sallee Sumthing, as agent. She was a $24,000 purchase at last year’s Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. October yearling sale. - Hip 62, a first-crop Fed Biz filly out of the unraced A.P. Indy mare Court Reception, who is the dam of eight winners from 11 runners. The filly, bred in Kentucky by Kathy Castoldi, is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Ruby’s Reception and Grade 2-placed Heritage Hall, along with stakes-producers Park Tavern, Singing Sensation, and Solidplatinumgirl. Grade 2 winner Connie’s Gift is in the extended family. Twin Oaks Training Center consigns the filly, as agent. She was purchased for $13,000 at the 2017 Keeneland September yearling sale. - Hip 63, a Yes It’s True colt who is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Officer mare Cute Cadet. Bred in Louisiana by Cloyce Clark, the colt is from the family of Grade 1 winner Sefa’s Beauty and Grade 2 winner Rojo Toro. Pike Racing consigns the colt, as agent.
