Three horses added to Fasig-Tipton November catalog

DRF Breeding Staff|Oct 18, 2013

A trio of horses have been supplemented to the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall selected mixed sale catalog, and will sell at the end of the evening on Monday, Nov. 4 at the sale company’s Newtown Paddocks in Lexington, Ky.

Betterbetterbetter, an Irish-bred 4-year-old Galileo filly, will sell carrying her first foal, by War Front. A Group 3-placed winner, Betterbetterbetter won one of seven starts during her racing career for $47,618, and is out of Darshaan mare Jude. She is one of seven winners from eight to race out of her dam, also including Irish classic winner Yesterday and Irish Group 1 winner Quarter Moon, and three additional group stakes-placed runners. She is from the family of Group 1 winners Allegretto, Alborada, Albanova, and Aussie Rules, Group 2 winners Last Second, Midas Touch and Thomas Chippendale, and Group 3 winner Alleluia. The filly will be consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.

Three Chimneys Sales, agent, will consign Nesso, a 2-year-old Roman Ruler filly, who is a multiple stakes-placed winner and will start next in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. After breaking her maiden by six lengths at Calder Race Course, she was sent to California, where she finished second in a pair of stakes on the turf at Del Mar and Santa Anita. She is out of the unraced Anet mare Devotedness, who is the dam of five winners from as many foals to race, including stakes winner Devoted Wildcat. Her family includes English classic winner Midway Lady and Grade 3 winner Joint Effort.

Also added to the catalog was Miss Arrangement, a 2-year-old Mr. Greeley filly, who won her debut start on Oct. 12 at Keeneland Race Course. Consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent, Miss Arrangement is out of the stakes-placed winning Shy Tom mare Shy Greeting, who is the dam of seven winners from eight foals to race, including Grade 2 winner Honorable Dillon and Argentine champion Forty Greeta. Group 1 winner Greco Tom and Grade 2 winner Good Command are also on the filly’s page.

The catalog pages for supplemental entries to the Fasig-Tipton November sale are now online, and print versions of the added horses’ catalog pages will be available on the Fasig-Tipton grounds at sale time.
