Juveniles by young sires Bolt d'Oro, Mitole, and Omaha Beach finished tied for the fastest furlong at 9 3/5 seconds as the under-tack preview show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s spring sale of 2-year-olds in training concluded with its seventh and final session on Sunday evening. The weeklong under-tack preview show, conducted on the Ocala Training Center's all-weather Safetrack surface, precedes the April 16-19 sale. It is the largest of its sort in the country, with 1,208 juveniles cataloged. Bolt d'Oro, Mitole, and Omaha Beach all stand at Spendthrift Farm. Grade 1 winner Bolt d'Oro was 2022's leading freshman sire, while Eclipse Award champion sprinter Mitole led that category in 2023.
