A Thousand Reasons goes wire to wire in Orleans Stakes

A Thousand Reasons broke on top and never looked back en route to a 4 3/4-length win over Karate Hottie in the $65,000 Orleans on Friday night at Delta Downs. It was another length back in third to Shes Our Fastest.
The Orleans was for fillies and mares over five furlongs.
A Thousand Reasons ($4.60) shuttled to the lead at the start, setting uncontested fractions of 22 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.42 for the half-mile. She remained clear of her rivals through the stretch, while covering the distance on a fast track in 58.15 seconds.
