Thistledown: Oh So Easy, easily

NORTH RANDALL, Ohio - Oh So Easy rallied from just off the pace to win the $75,000 Rose DeBartolo Memorial Stakes for fillies and mares by 2 3/4 lengths at Thistledown. Odds-on favorite Ashwood C C assumed command after a quarter-mile in the 1 1/8-mile race and set the pace until the eighth pole. She finished second, three-quarters of a length in front of a rallying Whitewater Way, who took third.

Oh So Easy settled just off the leaders and raced three wide into the far turn. She responded quickly when set down by jockey Ricardo Feliciano and won with something left. Oh So Easy is owned by Desting Farm LLC and trained by Tim Hamm. She covered the nine furlongs in 1:53.24 over a good racing strip and paid $7.80.
