Thistledown: Almighy O draws clear in Honey Jay Stakes

NORTH RANDALL, Ohio - Almighty O pressed the pace from the start while hung outside, matched strides with Klassy Korbin until deep stretch, then dug in late to edge clear by 1 1/2 lengths in the $50,000 Honey Jay Stakes at Thistledown on Saturday.

Klassy Korbin finished with determination and hit the wire on even terms with his stablemate Sneak a Cold Treat, who was closing in the four path, to dead-heat for second. It was three-quarters of a length back to Thats a Heckofacat in third.

Almighty O covered the six furlongs in 1:10 over a fast track under jockey Ben Creed and returned $5.80. Almighty O is trained by William Cowans.
