Texas horsewoman is killed

Ruth Claflin, an owner, breeder, and trainer based in Texas, was killed in an automobile accident Thursday morning while transporting horses near Rockdale, Texas. She was 64. A funeral service has been set for 11 a.m. Central time on Monday at Cook Waldon Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
