Testing One Two dominates Louisiana Jewel Stakes

Testing One Two became a stakes winner in emphatic fashion Friday night when she darted to a 16 1/2-length victory in the $150,000 Louisiana Jewel at Delta Downs.
Yes Gorgeous finished second - one start after a 15 3/4-length maiden win - while it was another 2 1/4 lengths back to Bionic Butterfly in third.
The Jewel was a mile race restricted to 2-year-old fillies bred in Louisiana.
Testing One Two ($3.80) tracked the early pace set by Just a Bandit and She’screative, took the lead through six furlongs in 1:13.55, and increased her advantage from there, covering the distance on a fast track in 1:40.09.
Diego Saenz was aboard the winner for trainer Victor Arceneaux.
Brittlyn Stable bred and owns Testing One Two, who is a daughter of Star Guitar. The filly has now won two of three starts. Following a third-place finish in her debut, which came in a maiden special weight sprint in August at Evangeline, she defeated open company in a maiden special weight in October at Delta. The seven-furlong race was run around two turns. She won by 6 3/4 lengths over Yes Gorgeous.
Testing One Two earned $90,000 in the Jewel to push her bankroll to $114,135.
