Terra's Angel to spend fall at Lone Star

ARCADIA, Calif. – Terra’s Angel, who won the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf on Sept. 4, has been sent to Texas for the remainder of the fall, trainer Dallas Keen said.
Terra’s Angel will be based at Retama Park with co-owner Terry Eoff, who trained Terra’s Angel for a maiden win in her debut at Lone Star Park in May.
In three starts with Keen in California, Terra’s Angel started twice at Del Mar, with a third in the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes on dirt Aug. 12, and a 19-1 upset win in the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf. She finished sixth, beaten 48 lengths by Moonshine Memories, in the Chandelier Stakes at Santa Anita on Sept. 30.
Terra’s Angel will be considered for the $75,000 La Senorita Stakes at a mile on turf Oct. 14. Keen said she could return to his California stable in coming months.
Eoff owns Terra’s Angel with Johnny Evans. By Drosselmeyer, Terra’s Angel has won 2 of 4 starts and earned $96,765.
