Taylor Madison takes another

Taylor Madison justified her role as the 2-1 favorite in the $65,000 Minaret Stakes by leading from start to finish for 1 1/4-length win in the six-furlong feature for fillies and mares at Tampa Bay Downs.

Ridden by Carlos Montalvo for trainer Mike Dini, Taylor Madison ($6.20) won her second straight race locally and sixth lifetime as she covered the distance over a fast track in 1:10.65.

A pair of longshots, Calder shipper Twiceasbeautiful and Rockaway Beach, finished second and third, respectively.
