Tattersalls October yearling sale Book 1 catalog now online

The first book of the Tattersalls October yearling sale is now available online, featuring 471 offerings.

Book 1 of the October sale will span from Tuesday, Oct. 7 to Thursday, Oct. 9, with all offerings eligible for the lucrative 2015/2016 Tattersalls Millions series of races. Physical copies of the catalog will be available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives from Monday, Aug. 18.

The catalog features yearlings out of 26 Grade/Group 1 and classic-winning mares. Leading sire Galileo is represented by 29 yearlings, while fashionable young sire Sea the Stars – half-brother to Galileo – has 35 offerings in the catalog. The late sire Montjeu will have four colts and two fillies from his final crop in the October sale.

Among the U.S. sires represented by yearlings in the Tattersalls October sale are Arch, Elusive Quality, Eskendereya, Exchange Rate, Giant’s Causeway, Hat Trick, Kitten’s Joy, Lemon Drop Kid, Speightstown, Stormy Atlantic, Street Cry, and War Front.
