Tattersalls Guineas breeze-up and horses in training catalog available online

The catalog for the Tattersalls Guineas breeze-up and horses in training sale is now online, featuring a roster of 236 entries.

The sale will be held May 1-2 in Newmarket, England, with 2-year-olds breezing at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse on Thursday, May 1, beginning at 9 a.m. British Standard Time.

This year’s catalog is divided into 158 juveniles, who will participate in the breeze show, and 78 horses in training. Of the 2-year-old in the sale, 102 are eligible for the Racing Post Yearling Bonus scheme, 32 are eligible for the British Owners and Breeders Incentive Scheme (BOBIS), six are entered in the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes, and one is qualified for French Owners’ Premiums.

"Last year's Tattersalls Guineas breeze-up and horses in training sale attracted buyers from throughout Europe and further afield and this year's catalog again looks to have plenty to attract an equally diverse crowd,” said Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony. “The combination of breeze up horses with older horses in training has proven to be a popular format and we look forward to building on the success of the previous two years."

The full breeze show will be shown live on Racing UK, and catalogs will be available from Tattersalls and all Tattersalls overseas representatives on Tuesday, April 15.
