Tasty Temptation rallies in Hill 'n' Dale

ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Tasty Temptation wore down the front-running La Rocca in the final sixteenth to win her fourth consecutive race Sunday at Woodbine in the .

Tasty Temptation ($3.60) raced four-wide throughout the 1 1/16-mile event as La Rocca set honest fractions of 24.34 and 48.29 seconds.

Tasty Temptation moved into serious contention on the far turn and went on to prevail by a length over Milwaukee Appeal, who defeated her in last year's Woodbine Oaks. La Rocca finished another neck back in third in the five-horse field of fillies and mares. The final time was 1:43.93.

Patrick Husbands rode Tasty Temptation for Woodford Racing and trainer Mark Casse.

"She maybe bounced a little today," Casse said. "Her effort last time was so good. She was a little dull today, but she was still able to win."

In addition to the usual prize money, the owners of the first three finishers received a breeding season to a Hill 'n' Dale Farm Kentucky stallion.
