Talkin, runner-up in the Grade 1 Champagne, and Mid-Atlantic stakes winners Balboa and Probably Dreaming will all be parked toward the outside in a 12-horse field entered for Saturday’s Grade 2, $250,000 Remsen Stakes going 1 1/8 miles.  Balboa, who won the John F Lewis Stakes going six furlongs at Laurel on Nov. 8, drew post 10 and is followed by Talkin and Probably Dreaming in posts 11 and 12.  Probably Dreaming, trained by Gary Capuano, won the Rocky Run Stakes at Delaware Park in October followed by a second-place finish to My World in the Nashua. My World was not among the 12 entered in the Remsen.  Todd Pletcher entered three in the Remsen including Renegade, who was disqualified from a win and placed second in a maiden race at Aqueduct on Nov. 17. Renegade, who drew post 9, does not show a published workout since Nov. 14. Paladin, a Chad Brown trainee who was elevated to first via disqualification in that race, is also in the Remsen.   Pletcher, a three-time Remsen winner, also entered Courting, the $5 million yearling purchase who won his maiden going a mile in his second start, and Grittiness, who ran second to Courting and who is still a maiden after three starts.  Others entered in the Remsen, whose top five finishers earn Kentucky Derby qualifying points (10-5-3-2-1), were Chambersville, Concarneau, Day One Starter, I Did I Did, and Igniter.  :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
