Take Me Serious became a stakes winner Monday, when she captured the $55,000 Miranda Diane at Will Rogers Downs in her first start since December 2022. She won by 1 3/4 lengths over Dicey, while it was another 4 3/4 lengths back in third to Gee Gee. The Miranda Diane was a six-furlong race for Oklahoma-bred fillies and mares. It was run on a muddy, sealed track. The race is named for the mare who won six local stakes races and retired with a record of 13 wins from 34 starts for earnings of $416,258. Take Me Serious ($10.40) took the lead soon after the start Monday and set a pressured pace, leading through an opening quarter in 22.13 seconds and a half-mile in 44.98. She was winning her third straight race Monday in streak that began in April 2022 in an entry-level allowance at Will Rogers. Following a layoff, she came back to win a first-level allowance at Remington Park in December 2022.
