Swiss Skydiver starts season in Beholder Mile

Barbara D. Livingston Swiss Skydiver will make her first start since the Breeders' Cup Distaff on Saturday in the Grade 1 Beholder Mile.
Swiss Skydiver, the champion 3-year-old filly of 2020, will begin her 2021 season in Saturday’s Grade 1 Beholder Mile for fillies and mares against a projected field of eight.
Swiss Skydiver, trained by Ken McPeek for Peter Callahan, has not raced since she finished seventh after a poor start in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff on Nov. 7 at Keeneland. Swiss Skydiver was a five-time stakes winner in 2020, including the Grade 2 Santa Anita Oaks last June and the Preakness in October.
The other expected starters in the $300,000 Beholder Mile are As Time Goes By, Clockstrikestwelve, Golden Principal, Harvest Moon, Miss Stormy D, Sanenus, and This Tea.
