Swift debut winner Munnys Gold sidelined until fall

Munnys Gold, the 2-year-old filly who won her debut by 14 1/2 lengths at Monmouth Park on June 17, remains sidelined and won’t be seen until the fall at the earliest, trainer Todd Pletcher said.

Pletcher said Munnys Gold had initially been plagued by a bruised foot. Now, Pletcher said, Munnys Gold had some swelling in a hock.
“We had to back off,” Pletcher said. “Probably won’t see her until September, October.”
Munnys Gold earned a 101 Beyer Speed Figure for her debut.
