Casual is a daughter of Curlin and the Grade 1-winning millionaire Lady Tak. She became a stakes winner in the She’s All In and earned a career-high Beyer Speed Figure of 92. “She went home, went to be bred,” Asmussen said. “It was great to see her go out on top.” Casual raced for her breeders, Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings and Stretch Run Ventures, as well as partner Windsor Boys Racing. The 5-year-old mare is the second stakes winner produced by Lady Tak, who also was trained by Asmussen.
