Super Hi Five hit for $107K

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - One winning ticket worth $107,647 was sold on the Super Hi Five on the ninth race Wednesday at Churchill Downs. The ticket was bought through the Racing Gaming Services hub, according to Churchill officials.

The Wednesday payoff was the highest so far at Churchill, and the third-largest in North America, following two previous payoffs in California. This is the first meet at Churchill for the Super Hi Five, a $1 minimum bet.

The winner of the race, which drew a field of nine, was Palm Princess, a 3-1 shot, followed by Miss Causeway (20-1), Furusato (15-1), Dandy Mandy (7-1), and Itsawonderfullife, the 2-1 favorite. The winning numbers were 7-9-3-8-1.

A carryover of $39,777 already was in the Super Hi Five jackpot going into Wednesday, after which an additional $84,146 was wagered.
