ARCADIA, Calif. - Super Corredora, the champion 2-year-old filly of 2025, worked a half-mile in 49 seconds at Santa Anita on Sunday in advance of her scheduled 2026 debut in the $100,000 Las Virgenes Stakes at a mile on Feb. 8. Super Corredora was timed in 47.60 seconds by trainer John Sadler. A winner of 2 of 4 starts, Super Corredora won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar on Oct. 31 in her last start. The Las Virgenes at a mile is one of two stakes on Feb. 8, in a program that begins at 11 a.m. Pacific to complete racing before Super Bowl kickoff at 3:30 p.m. Nevada Beach, second to Nysos in the Grade 2 Laffit Pincay Jr. Stakes at Santa Anita on Dec. 28, worked six furlongs in 1:14.20 for a scheduled start in the $20 million Saudi Cup in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 14. Om N Joy, a four-time stakes winner in 2025, worked a half-mile in 48.60 seconds on Sunday.
