Super Corredora back in training

Super Corredora, the 2025 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies winner whose 3-year-old campaign fizzled after two starts, is back in training at Santa Anita with John Sadler.
“She had 90 days on the farm, and she’s back,” Sadler said.
He expressed confidence the filly can return to form.
“Physically, she’s gonna rebound. It’s great to have her back for Del Mar,” Sadler said.
He then posed a rhetorical question that will be asked again when Super Corredora returns: “How is she going to stack up with the others?”
Super Corredora won the BC Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar and was named Eclipse Award winner as outstanding juvenile filly, but her 2026 campaign was paused after two subpar efforts at Santa Anita. She finished last of four in her February comeback, then missed the break and finished sixth of seven in the Grade 3 Santa Ysabel on March 8. She was turned out afterward.
Sadler will determine a fall comeback campaign for Super Corredora after she resumes serious training. She has not worked since returning to the track. The only graded dirt stakes for 3-year-old fillies this summer at Del Mar is the Grade 3, $150,000 Torrey Pines Stakes on Aug. 30. That might be a rush for Super Corredora, who has won 2 of 6 starts.
The filly is one of two Breeders’ Cup winners Sadler will take to Del Mar. Full Serrano, the 2025 BC Dirt Mile winner, is working every week and is on target for a July 18 comeback in the Grade 2 San Diego Handicap. That 1 1/16-mile race is expected to include Journalism, Iron Man Cal, and Shea Brennan.
