Barbara D. Livingston Straight No Chaser will be seeking a repeat in the Grade 2 Santa Anita Sprint Championship, part of Sunday's Sunset Six wager.

The Sunset Six is a pick six wager that links the final three races at Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita. The $1 base wager is open only to retail players and has takeout of 15 percent. There are no consolation payouts, and the pool will carryover if no one selects all six winners.

GULFSTREAM PARK RACE 8: LUCKY OLD SON battled throughout on Aug. 29 in his first start against winners but gave way in the end. The Florida-bred has the speed to clear under jockey Emisael Jaramillo. BLAST RADIUS also likes to be prominent early. He aims to make it two wins in a row after an upset neck victory on Aug. 29. (2)

GULFSTREAM PARK RACE 9: SUPER FREAKY GIRL came from off the pace to win a wild finish versus similar Aug. 3. The Bucchero filly should get another honest pace to run at with Reylu Gutierrez returning to ride. LE AMAZONIA makes her first start for trainer Victor Barboza Jr. Her two efforts over this course last winter put her squarely in the mix. GRANKA gets back to Florida after being outrun in two starts at Saratoga. She is likely better than what we saw in upstate New York. (3)

GULFSTREAM PARK RACE 10: AMAURY M. V. P. cuts back to a sprint and puts the blinkers back on after three starts going two turns over Tapeta. He is likely to benefit from the turn back in distance. G SPEEDY drops to the lowest level of his career after eight starts against tougher. He should be prominent early from his far outside draw. (2)

SANTA ANITA RACE 8: LADY MENDELSSOHN moves back to turf for the first time since late March. She won her maiden over this course and has progressed nicely since for trainer Carla Gaines. She meets a field she should handle in this statebred second-level allowance over the turf. (1)

SANTA ANITA RACE 9: AWESOME RHYTHM gets a major class test after three consecutive wins against lesser this summer. He needs a career-best effort, but that appears well within the range of outcomes. STRAIGHT NO CHASER won this race for fun last year. This field is in big trouble if he replicates that effort. (2)

SANTA ANITA RACE 10: MISS ARTOIS was caught wide throughout two back at Del Mar but avenged the poor trip with a maiden score Aug. 16. She has fired three solid shots since moving to the grass and attracts Juan Hernandez for the first time. (1)

THE PLAY: 2, 4 / 3, 5, 7 / 6, 9 / 6 / 2, 3 / 6 = $24 ticket
