Ryan Thompson/Coglianese Photos Saturday's Sunset Six kicks off with Race 9 at Gulfstream Park, the $75,000 Hollywood Beach Stakes.

The Sunset Six is a pick six wager that links the final three races at Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita. The $1 base wager is open only to retail players and has takeout of 15 percent. There are no consolation payouts. There is a carryover of $12,707 for the wager on Saturday after the bet went unhit Friday.

GULFSTREAM RACE 9: LENNILU moves back to turf after a nose victory on dirt in her first start since returning from Royal Ascot. The Florida-bred should get a perfect stalking trip under jockey Jonathan Ocasio. THE PRINCESS BRO ran huge to win at 24-1 on debut. The Win Win Win filly gets a class test in the Hollywood Beach. (2)

GULFSTREAM RACE 10: BLUE SLIDE PARK makes his first start since late July. He takes a big drop in class in his first start for trainer Victor Barboza Jr. LUNI SIMA is the one to beat. The blinkers go on the Keen Ice gelding, who has earned four of his lifetime victories over this surface. BIRD WILDCAT stretches back out to a mile following some rest after failing to fire on Aug. 30 off a short break. His speed and affinity for the course make him worth including. (3)

GULFSTREAM RACE 11: SPICY PRINCESS moves back to turf and stretches back out to two turns. The Tapit filly should be involved early, despite the blinkers coming off for the first time for trainer Patrick Biancone. (1)

SANTA ANITA RACE 8: FIRST PEACE shook off the rust last out at Del Mar in the Grade 3 Green Flash. The son of Funtastic gets back to his preferred turf course and should get a great trip from his outside draw under Hall of Famer Mike Smith. SORRENTO SKY also prefers it at Santa Anita. He appears poised for his best in his third start off the layoff. (2)

SANTA ANITA RACE 9: FULL SERRANO dominated a field of allowance foes earlier this month in his first start off a 10-month break. The 2024 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile winner should have the speed to clear early and the class to put them away late. (1)

SANTA ANITA RACE 10: INNOVATIVE cuts back to a sprint for the first time in her career. The daughter of Complexity has the look of a filly that could thrive down the hill. TIGHT SQUEEZE makes the second start of her form cycle after a third-place effort going five furlongs. Both of her wins have come over the Santa Anita turf. (2)

THE PLAY: 2, 8 / 2, 7, 8 / 5 / 4, 8 / 7 / 4, 12 = $24 ticket
