Sunland Park: That’s the Idea back sprinting in La Senora Stakes

That’s the Idea, who is undefeated around one turn, will get back to sprinting Saturday in the $85,000 La Senora at Sunland Park. The six-furlong race is for 3-year-old fillies bred in New Mexico.
That’s the Idea is 3 for 3 sprinting, having won her debut and a pair of statebred stakes by a combined 25 lengths. The wins came between last July and October. More recently, That’s the Idea has been racing around two turns, her latest effort a fourth-place finish in the $85,000 Enchantress at Sunland on Dec. 15.
That’s the Idea’s two-turn debut came in the $138,000 Eddy County at Zia Park, a race in which she faced males and stumbled badly at the start. She finished second in the one-mile race Nov. 27.
Enrique Gomez has the mount on That’s the Idea, who will add blinkers Saturday for trainer Henry Dominguez.
The field of nine also includes High Test Gal, who won the Enchantress by more than five lengths, one start after finishing third to That’s the Idea in the New Mexico Cup Juvenile Fillies at Zia on Oct. 27.
