* Decew Falls ($8.60) circled wide into contention on the turn and edged a closing Miracle Alley by a half-length to win his first stakes in the $126,200 Vice Regent at Woodbine. Ridden by Emile Ramsammy, Decew Falls covered a mile over soft turf in 1:39.38.

* Nice Choice ($23.20) used his speed to flee his outside post, was able to get a good stalking position, and then came home gamely to beat Acting Report by a neck in the $20,000 Mile Hi Handicap at Yavapai Downs.
