* Trainer Andreas Schutz won his fifth German Derby on Sunday when the 5-1 Shirocco landed the $650,000, 1 1/2-mile classic at Hamburg by four lengths from Malinas.

* Fine Stormy ($20.80) won the $100,000 Charles Town Dash by a half-length over Not for Sam, with favored Anthony Soprano in third.
