* Devil Time ($6), the 2003 Ohio horse of the year who was unraced since July 2004, posted a 4 1/4-length victory in the $45,000 Sydney Gendelman Memorial at River Downs. Ben's Reflection held second over Altura. Devil Time ran 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:41.80.

* The odds-on favorite, Southern Surprise, ($3.80), led wire to wire in the $40,000 Fleur de Lis Stakes at Louisiana Downs. He ran the mile and 70 yards in 1:42.57.
