Sumfun remains razor sharp

Sumfun drove to a 1 1/4-length win over Trouble Now in the $50,000 J.R. Straus Memorial at Retama Park on Saturday night. It was another seven lengths back in third to Prince Krimmer.

Sumfun ($3) was with the pace throughout, covering the six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.67. Bobby Walker Jr. rode the winner for Carl Moore and trainer Bret Calhoun.

The Straus was Sumfun's fourth win in his last five starts, among his victories the $50,000 Route 66 at Will Rogers Downs.
