ARCADIA, Calif. – Suggestive Boy, third in the Grade 1 Frank Kilroe Mile on turf at Santa Anita on March 8, has resumed training after a break and could race as early as the Del Mar summer meeting. Trainer Ron McAnally said Suggestive Boy had “a minor problem,” but did not elaborate. “We gave him a little time,” McAnally said. “He won’t be ready for awhile. We decided to back off.“ Suggestive Boy won two stakes in 2013, both turf miles – the Grade 2 Arcadia and Grade 1 Kilroe Mile. A 6-year-old Argentine-bred horse, Suggestive Boy has won 7 of 15 starts and earned $730,654, all for owner Jose Cerillo, who races as Pozo de Luna Inc. Suggestive Boy closed from seventh in a field of nine with a five-wide rally to finish 1 1/2 lengths behind Winning Prize in the Kilroe Mile.
