Suburban has a Belmont Stakes feel to it

ELMONT, N.Y. – Sir Winston, Tacitus, and Joevia, the top three-finishers from the 2019 Belmont Stakes, are all targeting next Saturday’s Grade 2, $200,000 Suburban Stakes at Belmont Park.
On Friday, Sir Winston worked an easy half-mile in 50.90 seconds over the Belmont Park main track. Sir Winston is coming off a second-place finish behind Moretti in the Flat Out Stakes here on June 11.

Tacitus is 0 for 7 since he won the Grade 2 Wood Memorial at Aqueduct in April 2019. He is coming off a fourth-place finish in the Grade 2 Oaklawn Handicap on May 2. He was expected to have his final Suburban work over the weekend.
Joevia, fourth behind Code of Honor in the Grade 3 Westchester, was scheduled to have his last Suburban workout Saturday at Monmouth Park. Trainer Gregg Sacco said Jose Ortiz will ride Joevia in the Suburban.
Others pointing to the race include Moretti, Forewarned, Just Whistle, and Parsimony. Mr. Buff is possible.
