Storm the Court turned out, will race at 5

Storm the Court, the champion 2-year-old male of 2019, will not race again this year.
Trainer Peter Eurton said over the weekend that Storm the Court has been turned out on a central California farm and will return to the track for a 5-year-old campaign in 2022.
“We’re giving him a couple of months off to get him ready for next year,” Eurton said.
Eurton said this is Storm the Court’s first vacation.
“He hasn’t been off the track,” he said.
Storm the Court is winless in 10 starts since an upset victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita in November 2019. This year, Storm the Court has started twice, finishing seventh in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational at Gulfstream Park in January and fifth in the Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes at seven furlongs at Santa Anita in March.
The Eurton-trained Dream Shake, second or third in three stakes this year, will have his turf debut in the $100,000 Oceanside Stakes for 3-year-olds at a mile on turf on July 16 at Del Mar.
