Storm the Court pointing toward 2022 campaign

ARCADIA, Calif. – Storm the Court, winless in 10 starts since a 45-1 upset in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita in 2019, recently returned to trainer Peter Eurton’s stable after a summertime rest.
Storm the Court is currently jogging for a return to racing in early 2022.
“He tack-walked for a month and he’ll jog for a month,” Eurton said. “He’ll be back at the end of January, if we do it his way.”
Owned by the partnership of Exline-Border Racing, David Bernsen, Susanna Wilson, and Dan Hudock, Storm the Court has not raced since a fifth-place finish in the Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes at seven furlongs at Santa Anita in March.

The 10-race losing streak includes a sixth-place finish in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in September 2020 and a second by three-quarters of a length in the Grade 2 Mathis Brothers Mile on turf at Santa Anita last December.
Eurton said Storm the Court may race on turf in 2022.
“I think he will probably start out at 6 1/2 furlongs or a mile,” he said.
