Stonewall to have 25 in Ocala sale

Twenty-five horses from Stonewall Farm and its related entities are among 34 horses added to the June 15 juvenile and racing-age sale at Ocala Breeders' Sales Company in Ocala, Fla.

Stonewall recently signed an agreement with Fifth Third Bank that will put many of the Midway, Ky., farm's broodmares and young stock through the auction ring. Meg Levy's Bluewater Sales agency is acting as receiver for the bloodstock, but the Leprechaun Racing agency will handle the consignment at the OBS auction.

The Stonewall consignment includes juveniles and 3-year-olds by Medaglia d'Oro, Value Plus, Theatrical, A. P. Warrior, Leroidesanimaux, Da Stoops, and Frisco Star. The consignment consists of 20 juveniles and five older horses in training, and it features Hip No. 424, a 2-year-old Medaglia d'Oro filly out of Grade 1 winner Jostle.

In addition to the Stonewall entries, the supplemental catalog also includes a 2-year-old Harlan's Holiday half-sister to Canadian champion juvenile filly Biofuel.

The supplemental horses will sell at the end of the auction as Hip Nos. 401-434. The catalog supplement is available online at .

The under-tack preview for the auction takes place June 12-13, with Hip Nos. 10200 breezing Saturday and Hip Nos. 201-434 working Sunday. The previews begin daily at 8 a.m., and the June 15 auction begins at 10:30 a.m. Both the under-tack show and the sale will take place at the OBS pavilion in Ocala.
