Stockton: High Resolve sizzles in Sweepida

Heavily favored High Resolve ($4.40) cruised home a 4 3/4-length winner in the $52,950 Sweepida Stakes at the San Joaquin County Fair.

High Resolve, under Russell Baze for trainer Greg Gilchrist, was simply cruising as she crossed the finish line in the six-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies in 1:09.61. Joyful Me rallied for second, 1 1/4 lengths in front of third-place Mission Viejo Halo.
