Steeplechase group sets steroid policy

The National Steeplechase Association said Friday it had approved a rule banning all steroids except stanozolol, boldenone, nandrolone, and testosterone. Those four will be allowed to test at trace levels.

"With all that is going on in the world of Thoroughbred racing, we just felt the need to follow suit and be proactive," said the association's director of racing, Bill Gallo, in a release.
