This is just the fourth running of this 5f handicap for three-year-olds rated 0-105, so more evidence is required, but already three quite interesting areas are worth throwing into the argument.

Very early days of course, but no horse from the top six in the weights has finished any better than eighth in its three editions thus far, with last year's winner Latin Lover near enough at the foot of the 27-runner line-up.

All three runnings have also favoured horses drawn high (24-20-22-23 and 28-11-25-13), and in the inaugural running 6/4 favourite Art Power scorched to victory by 3 lengths in a 21-runner field, where the stands’ side was the place to be again (19-21-11-20).

The most interesting aspect of the full result of that first running, though, was that although fillies were outnumbered 2:1, they finished second, third, fourth and fifth. They were also responsible for both the second and third last year.
