Starlight Racing buys into Derby hopefuls Audible, Justify

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Starlight Racing announced it has reached an agreement with GF Bloodstock to purchase interests in a pair of Kentucky Derby hopefuls, Holy Bull winner Audible and eye-catching maiden winner Justify.

Audible, trained by Todd Pletcher, is pointing for the Grade 1 Florida Derby on March 31.

Justify owns the highest Beyer Speed Figure for a 3-year-old this year, a 104 for his maiden win going seven furlongs on Feb. 18 at Santa Anita. The Bob Baffert trainee is pointing for the Sunland Derby on March 25.

Starlight has had seven Derby starters, the most recent in 2015 with Itasknockout, who ran ninth.
