Stakes winners Lost Bus, My Fiona retired

ARCADIA, Calif. – Stakes winners Lost Bus and My Fiona have been retired and will be bred to Kentucky-based stallions in 2017, trainer Gary Sherlock said Friday.
Lost Bus and My Fiona were recently shipped to owner Terry Lovingier’s farm in California, where they will remain until sent to Kentucky. Sherlock said stallion plans have not been finalized, but American Pharoah and Will Take Charge are under consideration.
Lost Bus won 5 of 16 starts and earned $412,818 in a career highlighted by a 64-1 win in the Grade 2 Santa Monica Stakes at Santa Anita last January. Claimed for $32,000 last November, Lost Bus also won the Spring Fever Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at Santa Anita in July.

My Fiona was later trained by Bob Hess Jr. in 2015 and won 2 of 9 starts for Sherlock this year.
By Ghostzapper, My Fiona finished fifth in the Betty Grable Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at Del Mar on Nov. 13, her final start.
