* Philadelphia Jim ($3.80) splashed his way to a 3 1/2-length victory in the $60,000 Dancing Count Stakes for 3-year-olds at Laurel Park. It was the third win on the card for owner Michael Gill, who won 110 races at Laurel and Pimlico in 2002, and ranked second in the nation with 228 victories.

* Jockey Ramon Dominguez completed a 4-for-4 day by guiding Coquettish ($3.60) to a three-length victory in the $100,000 Maryland Juvenile Filly Championship at Laurel Park. In the co-featured $100,000 Maryland Juvenile Championship, Foufa's Warrior ($7.60) gave owner-breeder Sondra Bender her seventh stakes victory of the year when he overtook pacesetter Ironton by a neck.

* Town Queen ($10) rallied from just off the pace to win the $50,000 My Charmer Stakes for fillies and mares by two lengths at Turfway Park.
