Spring Steen shows them who's boss in Miranda Diane Stakes

Spring Steen drew out to a nine-length win over Natalie’s Mischief in the $55,000 Miranda Diane Stakes on Monday at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Okla. It was another 4 3/4 lengths back to Master’s Bouquet in third.
The Miranda Diane was a six-furlong race restricted to fillies and mares bred in Oklahoma.
Spring Steen ($4.20) broke well from the rail and proceeded to set fractions of 22.19 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.33 for the half-mile, with Fiddlers Tsunami chasing in second. In the stretch Spring Steen separated herself from the competition, going on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:11.31.
Curtis Kimes was aboard for trainer Francisco Bravo.
Spring Steen was a 9 1/4-length winner of a Will Rogers allowance sprint one start prior to the Miranda Diane.
