DRF Breeding Staff|Oct 18, 2014

Spendthrift Farm has released the 2015 advertised fees for its 26-horse stallion roster based at farms across North America.

Flagship stallion Malibu Moon is once again Spendthrift’s highest-priced offering, standing at the operation’s Lexington, Ky. farm for $95,000. The 17-year-old son of A.P. Indy’s fee remains unchanged from the 2014 breeding season.

Popular young stallion Into Mischief will command the second-highest fee of the Spendthrift roster, and takes the biggest leap in price, standing for $30,000 in 2015. The 9-year-old Harlan’s Holiday stallion previously stood for $20,000.

Warrior’s Reward, a leading freshman sire in 2014, will stand for $25,000 during the coming breeding season, increasing the 8-year-old Medaglia d’Oro horse’s fee from $12,500.

Temple City, a 9-year-old son of Dynaformer, will also stand for an increased fee during the upcoming breeding season, rising from $5,000 to $12,500.

At Park Stud in Ontario, Court Vision will stand for $7,500 Canadian after previously standing for $10,000, while Victor’s Cry’s fee will decrease from $5,000 Canadian to $3,500. Spendthrift’s stallions at Keane Stud in New York will also see adjustments, with Dublin going from $7,500 to $6,500 and The Lumber Guy dropping from $5,000 to $3,500.
