Speedy Silver tries doubling up

Speedy Silver is looking to pull a Kansas Thoroughbred Association double on Saturday at the Woodlands when he starts as one of the top choices in the $10,000 KTA Derby.

Last year, Speedy Silver won the $20,000 KTA Futurity, also at the Woodlands. Ken Shino has the mount on Speed Silver for trainer Kenneth Gleason.
