Analysis:
UPPER LEVEL is bred both sides for speed, and shows an extensive worktab leading up to her career debut. Trainer Gary Contessa is very capable with debut performers, and his charge has been taking in the Saratoga scenery since mid-May. She shows a recent bullet workout (only one of 19 at the distance to work sub 36), and figures to be on her toes.
REMARKABLE REMY sold for $200,000 as a yearling, and the dam is a half to Snow Dance, the winner of the Grade 2 Lake Placid over Spa turf in 2001. BAR CITYs owner, trainer, and jockey teamed up for a juvenile winner here the other day, and Linda Rice sent out a juvenile debut winner on turf at Belmont. Dale Romans had a debut winner here on Wednesday, and hell send out ALL THE RIGHTNOTES in this spot. Her sire does well with turf performers.
